Purpose in the Pain

The rain slides down the window pane and symbolizes the tears of life. Does pain actually have a purpose, and if so how does that change your view?
Rain, like tears, holds emotions and the potential for growth. That drip-drop rhythm connects to the heart. It's that beat that pushes life-giving music into our veins and sets the baseline to dancing.
Musical patterns live inside these temples we call bodies, and the tempos echo up to our brains. We are a simply complex orchestra of strings playing back to our hearts from our vocal chords.
The voices that travel through the air sway molecules that dance, music to our ears. We connect through singing and the rhythms that tap their way into our eardrums.
When we feel another's heartbeat in song we connect like a choir and harmonize our hearts. Our hearts have been beat down by the pains of life. Music is our chance to tell our stories and to resonate on a spiritual level. We get to sing a new song and determine how the story ends.
Did you know that we measure our heartbeat with the same measurement we use to measure music (beats per minute or BPM)? Face it, you are music itself and purpose can be discovered in the pain.
